Meet Florian: Bringing Experience, Energy, and a Fresh Perspective to RESONIKS

Finding the right Project Manager for RESONIKS wasn't easy.

We spoke with many talented candidates, but we were looking for more than experience alone. We wanted someone with that extra spark, the passion, drive, and determination to make things happen and inspire those around them.

From our very first conversations, Florian stood out.

He joined RESONIKS in April as our Senior Project Manager, bringing more than 10 years of experience in Information Technology, with the last several years focused on project management. Beyond his technical expertise, he brings a positive energy, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine enthusiasm that have already made a significant impact on our team and projects.

We're delighted to have Florian on board and wanted to share a little more about the person behind the role.

About me

I am an Industrial Engineer (M.Sc.) from Germany with a professional background in IT. I began my career as an API developer before transitioning into IT consulting, where I worked at a more strategic level and developed a broad range of technical and business skills. Over time, I realised that the project management aspects of my work were what I enjoyed most, so I decided to pursue that path full-time.

I moved to Finland because of my Finnish wife. After spending ten years together in Germany, we agreed it was Finland's turn. Luckily, that decision also led me to RESONIKS, which has turned out to be the perfect fit.

What do you enjoy most about being part of the RESONIKS team?

Before joining RESONIKS, I mainly worked for larger companies where decisions and projects naturally moved at a slower pace. Working in a startup is a completely different experience. Things happen quickly, and I have much more freedom to make decisions, shape processes, and take ownership of my work. Rather than finding that challenging, I find it incredibly motivating. It confirmed that this is exactly the type of environment where I do my best work.

How do the RESONIKS values resonate with you?

One thing I really appreciate is how quickly we make decisions. Speed may not be listed as one of our official company values, but it is very much part of our culture. Fast decision-making keeps us productive and allows us to move forward instead of getting stuck in endless discussions. We're not afraid to make decisions, learn from them if needed, and keep improving. That mindset has made me more productive than ever.

What's something you've experienced here that could only happen at RESONIKS?

We needed a new inventory management system. I researched the available options, discussed them with the team, selected the best solution, implemented it, and we were using it almost immediately. The entire process took less than three days. I've never experienced a software evaluation, decision, and rollout happen that quickly anywhere else.

When do your best ideas come to you?

Usually, when I have a blank sheet of paper, a few moments of quiet to think, a meaningful problem that people genuinely want solved, and enough freedom to design the right solution without too many constraints.

How has RESONIKS supported your professional growth?

From my very first day, both the leadership team and my colleagues trusted me in my role as Project Manager. That trust has given me the freedom to take ownership, define processes, and continuously improve the way we work together. We experiment, learn, and iterate quickly until we find what works best.
