The Hague, 10 February 2025. Meet Paulus Wonga, RESONIKS’ resident go-getter! Paulus started as a Sales Intern in May 2024, and has now joined our team full-time as a Business Development Representative after completing his masters last fall. Paulus motivates everyone in the office to put more pep in their step: he comes to the office one hour before everyone else just so he can finish in time to go play football. And of course, he does it all with a smile on his face!
A Bit About Me
Let’s just say, school and I weren’t exactly best friends growing up. I was that kid - the one who struggled through primary school and didn’t get admitted to high school based on GPA. Instead, I had to take the vocational education route. But regardless of these setbacks, I decided to take education seriously, and four years after completing vocational school, I got into a bachelor's program, which then turned into an master's within another four years. Not bad for someone who once thought school was optional!
Now, besides the obvious answer of my friends, my girlfriend and my family making me happy, football is my true passion. I’ve been playing for nearly two decades, and nothing else gives me the same level of joy, both playing and watching it religiously (I feel slightly less joy when my team is losing). Honourable mentions? I’m a huge anime fan and love to cook in my free time.
One thing that surprises people the most when they first meet me? That I’m Finnish. I swear, the disbelief on their faces never gets old.

What Gets You Out of Bed in the Morning?
The fact that the faster I get up, the faster I get to go back to bed later. Efficiency at its finest.
When You Were a Kid, What Did You Want to be When You Grew Up?
A football player. No question. No backup plan. Just me, a ball, and dreams of playing in packed stadiums.
Why Do You Enjoy Being Part of RESONIKS?
On the day to day, the diversity of our team is what makes this place so special. We’re a mix of different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives, which means conversations here are never boring. One minute we’re having deep, thought-provoking discussions, and the next, we’re cracking jokes and kicking back. It’s a great balance of hard work and fun, and I love that.
Beyond our office banter, the most exciting part of my job are the exhibitions and customer meetings, hands down. I’m a social person, so getting to meet new people, engage in meaningful conversations, and (hopefully) make a positive impact on someone’s day is something I genuinely enjoy. If I had to choose one moment that was the most special, it would be when I was asked to attend an event solo for the first time. The best part? Felix (CEO) later got direct positive feedback about how I did. That moment felt like a real milestone.
When Do You Come Up With Your Best Ideas?
Usually when I have zero access to a piece of paper, a phone, or a computer. So basically, the moment I can’t write them down. Classic.
What Attracted You to Join our Company, and What Keeps You Motivated to Stay?
The solution. The moment I heard what RESONIKS was working on and why it was being developed, I was all in. I believed in it 100%, and that’s what keeps me going. When you’re working on something innovative that you truly believe in, it’s easy to stay motivated.
